We already know awesome things happen at the Commonwealth Games, but thanks to a Glasgow-based bartender awesome things are happening around the games, as well. Specifically, the newly created 71-ingredient “Commonwealth Cocktail.”
Why 71? Well, that’s the number of nations and territories participating in this year’s games, which gathered 4,500 athletes to compete in 17 sports over 11 days.
“It’s been a case of trial and error as many of the combinations of ingredients just didn’t work,” Mal Spence, the super cocktails creator told The Drinks Business. “I went through over 300 different ingredients before finding the final perfect blend.”
